Q: Can I use Early Adopter Community technology in production?

A: No. We expect that you will abide by all information in the EAC Terms of Service. While creating your account, you will agree to the Terms of Service before joining.

Q: How do I contact someone from the Early Adopter Community team?

A: Email betafeedback@esri.com.

Q: What is the Early Adopter Community?

A: The Early Adopter Community provides Esri users with managed access to Esri’s developing products and emerging technologies. The Early Adopter Community also provides Esri customers the tools to interact with Esri product teams and access to pre-release software.

Q: How do I join an EAC project?

A: You may sign up for any of the projects that are open opportunities. These projects can be found inside the sign-in page. Some projects may require approval in order to participate.

Q: What if I don't see the project I want to participate in?

A: If you don't find the project you're looking for inside the open opportunities, you may reach out to betafeedback@esri.com for more information.

Q: Can I participate in more than one early adopter program?

A: Yes, you can participate in more than one of our projects. We ask that you provide feedback for all the programs you choose to participate in.

Q: How much time will I spend if I participate in a project?

A: This depends on the type of project you participate in and how much you enjoy working with new technology. We expect that you will spend 2 to 4 hours each week using the product and provide feedback. We expect that if you find a bug in the software, you will report it to Esri.

Q: Once I'm a part of a project, how can I submit feedback?

A: Depending on how the project is set up, users can provide feedback either through Test Plan activities, user forums, or surveys in the Early Adopter Community. Follow instructions on the project homepage to learn more.

Q: Why do you collect information about the hardware and software platforms I use?

A: Esri uses this information to target specific beta products/services to users of those platforms. For example, if we had a new product that was coming out on the Linux platform, we would want to send invites to all users that had indicated they use Linux. This helps us provide participants with more relevant betas and test scenarios.
